"Social entrepreneurship for social inclusion - a new European perspective"

Training Workshop on "Social Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion - A new European perspective" was held on 27 and 28 May in Bar and 29 and 30 May 2014 in Podgorica. Given that social entrepreneurship is increasingly gaining in importance as largely encourages identification and resolution of social problems as well as social and professional integration of the harder employable category, training was divided into theoretical and practical part so the participants can have the opportunity to, through concrete examples, go through the necessary stages of social enterprise creation and management.
Working session lasted from 09:00 to 16:30 on both days. Training was operated by Francesco Tommasi, employed in L'impronta Onlus - social cooperative in Italy.
The following topics were discussed:
- The concept of social entrepreneurship in the European context;
 - Models of governance and social objective of social enterprises: the Italian model;
- Development opportunities in the Balkans: small and large examples; defining objectives (mission);
- The capabilities and opportunities for development strategy: SWOT analysis;
- Business Plan;
- Knowledge of and creation of markets, marketing;
 - Optimization of production: the criteria of efficiency and effectiveness;
- Reports, calculating costs and revenues;
- Form for calculating, planning and management of the company.
