World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

Marking the 15th of June World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Caritas Barske nadbiskupije organized a campaign to give its contribution in celebration of this day.

At local levels, campaigns were organized in four minicipalities in which the project is being implemented: Bar, Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje.

Stands with informative and promotional materials were placed in these four municipalities so that everyone interested can find out more about this issue. Also, citizens were able, through a questionnaire, to express their opinion on this subject. Posters were placed on the permitted areas so that more people can be informed about June 15th, the day which is celebrated worldwide as the day of the fight against abuse of the elderly.

Campaign at the national level began on Saturday 14th of June by presenting the video, which was prepared within the project activities, on national television.
